Copenhagen Beachvolley is one of Denmark's biggest beach volleyball clubs, with about 620 active members playing beach volleyball all year round. We're powered by our wonderful volunteers and many passionate members!
Our club offers training for all levels imaginable – from total beginners to elite and national team players. Plus, we organize tournaments, parties, and other awesome social events for our members all year long!
We have four core values that guide everything we do, our vision, and our goal to become a top beach volleyball club in Denmark and the Nordics.

Registrering for at kunne komme på et brede hold (≥20 år) for vinter sæson 2026-27 åbner mandag den 17-August-2026 kl. 21:00 og lukker søndag den 30-August-2026 kl. 23:59.

Registrering guideline for ALLE medlemmer (eksisterende og nye)
Alle der ønsker en chance for en plads på en af bredde træningsgrupperne skal udfylde formularen, lige meget om man er eksisterende/nyt medlem eller del af en sommer trænings gruppe.
Prioritering af medlemmer til vinter trænings grupper er nuværende under evaluering i klubben og vil blive beskrevet på klubbens hjemmeside før registreringen åbner.
For vinter sæson er der historisk mange ansøgere til få indendørs baner.
-> For at forbedre dine chancer for at få en plads udfyld ansøgnings formen hurtigst muligt når registreringen åbner.
For ungdoms spillere ( Therefore, to improve your chances of securing a spot make sure to apply early – when registration opens or as soon as possible thereafter.

Another great Grand Slam weekend has come to a successful close, with plenty of exciting matches, high-level play, and strong performances across all divisions.
Congratulations to all the winners, as well as the 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the various tournaments and divisions. It’s always a Read morepleasure to see so many players giving it their all on the courts and creating a great tournament atmosphere at the club.

The CPH Beach Para Team is back from Bibione ☀️
Our Para Beach Volleyball team has just returned from Bibione, Italy, where they competed in the PVE Beach Volleyball Standing Marathon.
It was a great and educational trip with plenty of training, matches, and camaraderie in all kinds of weather – Read morerain, wind, sun, and heat. The trip also gave the team the opportunity to bond even more closely, both on and off the court.
On the field, they suffered five losses against Italian teams, but several of the matches were very close. In the final match, the team even had two match points before the game unfortunately ended 23–21 in favor of the opponents.
The team was the only one with para-athletes among approximately 2,500 teams spread across several different categories. As a result, their participation generated a great deal of interest and attention—both for the team itself and for the development of Para Beach Volleyball.
Now the team is ready to take the next step toward the late-summer push and the European Championships in Standing Beach Volleyball in Ljubljana this August.
Going forward, training will continue on Wednesdays at Hafnia Hall, participation in the Paradise game on Fridays, and a new regular Sunday practice.
At the same time, a strong, small group of volunteers is growing around the team, helping to support, develop, and create a positive environment for the project. This means a great deal to both the team and the club.

🔥 Visit from the world’s best in Hafnia 🔥
Last Wednesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Norwegian beach volleyball stars Hendrik Mol and Mathias Berntsen to Hafnia, where they trained and coached both our elite and youth players.
Through training sessions and Q&A sessions, they shared their knowledge Read moretheir experiences from the top international level and offered exciting insights into their own tactical considerations on the court. At the same time, they discussed Norway’s development and path toward becoming a powerhouse in beach volleyball.
Our players gained plenty of inspiration, practical tools, and valuable advice to take with them for their own development—both technically, tactically, and mentally.

We're still super proud to see Kattner getting recognized for his great work, being nominated as DGI's Volunteer of the Year. The final winner will be announced at DGI's general assembly on March 26th!
Congratulations to Martin Kattner!
Martin has been nominated for “Passionate Advocate of the Year” by DGI Greater Copenhagen—and we at CPH Beach are incredibly proud of him.
Along with two others, he has been selected by the DGI board, and the nomination already awards him and the club 2,500 kr and a nice Read morevisit, as you can see in the video below, where he was surprised during practice yesterday.
For many years, Martin has made an extraordinary contribution to the club. He’s served as a board member, a volunteer, an employee, a coach, and is currently the head of elite sports—and regardless of his role, he’s always been driven by a tremendous passion for developing both the club and the sport.
Among other things, Martin has spearheaded the development of our talent program, completed a certified coaching course, and helped develop the first true coaching program in beach volleyball—including the creation of a beach volleyball coaching manual. In other words, his dedication has not only been significant for CPH Beach, but for the development of beach volleyball throughout Denmark.
He does all of this with warmth, a broad perspective, and a big smile.
We’re very proud of the nomination and look forward to seeing who is named the winner at the DGI Greater Copenhagen general meeting.
