//English below//
1: Info about the Summer Season 2026
The Summer Season 2026 kicks off in May (week 19) and wraps up in mid-September (week 37, inclusive). CPH Beach has courts available for training and play at Hafnia Hallen (Valby) and Ryparken (Østerbro).
Training priorities across our Senior, Elite, and Youth sections are guided by the club's strategy. The SU (Sports Committee), Elite Manager, and Youth Coordinator have worked together on a detailed plan, including player and coach assignments.
2: Senior Offers and Training Packages
For the Summer Season 2026, the club offers the following training options for Senior players:
- One weekly training session (Price: 500 DKK for the whole season)
or - Two weekly training sessions (Price: 900 DKK for the whole season)
Training sessions take place Monday to Thursday starting at 5:00 PM. There are different training groups available, catering to various skill levels from beginner to experienced/advanced.
If you've been assigned to a training group, you'll need to pay for a training package in addition to your membership fee. Everyone who wants to be a member of the club must pay the club membership fee (https://medlem.cphbeach.dk/da/subscriptions ). Membership allows you to (i) purchase training packages (see above), and/or (ii) book courts for free with other members, and/or (iii) participate in club events (e.g., Friday fun mix, internal tournaments, social gatherings, etc.).
3: Weekly Schedule and Senior Training Groups
You can find the weekly program for CPH Beach here: CPH Beach weekly plan_Summer 2026_View
The training groups can be found here: Weekly Schedule
You can view the training groups here: Training Groups
To see the file's content, click the link, then click "request access", and finally enter the password you received via email from the SU (Sports Committee). Please check your spam folder. If it doesn't work on your phone, try opening it in a browser or on a computer.
Please note: Only players who have applied for a spot have received the password to open the file at the email address provided during the application/questionnaire.
Players have been assigned to training groups as described here: Rules and Guidelines for CPH Beach Membership
Please note that only a maximum of 8 players per court can participate in each training session (meaning up to 24 players for 3 courts, 16 players for 2 courts). A slightly higher number of players is assigned to each group based on historical attendance data. Throughout the season, we'll be monitoring attendance for all groups and will make adjustments and adapt the groups if we see lower/higher attendance than expected.
4: Actions for players who applied for a training spot and were assigned to a training group
ACTION #1: Please confirm or decline your spot by April 24th at 11:59 PM. If you pay late, you'll lose your spot, and it will go to a player on the waiting list.
If you want to confirm your spot, please follow these steps:
- Go to our website (LINK) and log in with your profile
(if you're a new member: create a profile and then log in) - If you're a former member or a new member: First, pay the Senior membership (monthly fee) here https://medlem.cphbeach.dk/da/subscriptions . If you're already a member, please go to step 3.
- Pay for your training package:
- 1 weekly training session: https://medlem.cphbeach.dk/en/webshop/product/470
- 2 weekly training sessions: https://medlem.cphbeach.dk/en/webshop/product/469
- Please check that you've only added 1 item to your shipping cart and confirm the final price before you confirm your payment ('check out' and then 'confirm').
If you want to decline the training offer, please email SU (su@cphbeach.dk ). That way, SU can offer the spot to one of the many players on the waiting list.
If you'd like a spot in a different training group (higher or lower level), please read what to do in the FAQ section #6 Question Q1.
ACTION #2 (only if you've confirmed your spot): Once you've confirmed your spot, join the Facebook group(s) for your training group(s) to stay updated and connect with your teammates and coaches. Links to the Facebook groups for each team are listed in the training group overview. See the link in section #3.
ACTION #3 (only if you've confirmed your spot): Once you've confirmed your spot**, you'll need to sign up for each individual training session throughout the season.**
You can use our website or the Sportyfriends app: Find your training session under 'Trainings' in the calendar and sign up for a specific date.
Please note that all coaches have been asked to send players home who haven't signed up for that specific training session.
Important information:
- Sign-ups for a training session open 14 days before and close 24 hours before the training starts.
- You can be signed up for one training session at a time for each training group you've been assigned to, within a 14-day period.
- If the training session is fully booked, you can still sign up and you'll be put on a waiting list for that specific session. If one of the other players cancels before the training starts, players on the waiting list will get a spot and receive an email notification about it.
So, always remember to: (i) Cancel in good time if you can't make it. Always cancel on the website/Sportyfriends app if you can't make it to a training session you've signed up for. (ii) Check your email (including your spam folder) if you're on the waiting list for a training session. You might get lucky and get a spot!
Note: If you're having trouble signing up for a training session and the message says 'You have reached your active signup limit', try logging in via the website (not the Sportyfriends app), empty your cart/shopping cart (the icon in the top left), and then sign up again.
5: Actions for players who applied for a training spot but didn't get a spot in a training group
No action is needed. Read more in the FAQ section #6 Question Q2.
6: FAQs – please read here before contacting SU!
Question 1: I'd like to be moved to a different training group or a different training day. Is that possible?
If you're not happy with your group placement (maybe the training day doesn't fit your free time or work schedule, your partner got put in a different group, or you'd like to train at a higher level, etc.), just send us an email and tell us what's up. But please keep this in mind:
At the beginning of the season, we can only make small changes. Later on (once the coaches have checked out the group levels and SU has seen who's showing up to training to figure out available spots), we might be able to make more adjustments.
We look at each request individually, and it could take some time (or might not even happen this season). That's because moving up or down really depends on whether there are open spots in other groups and if the skill level matches.
Just so you know, it's usually easier to move down to a lower level than to move up. Keep this in mind when you send us an email or when you make your choice below.
If you're hoping to switch to a different group (either higher or lower), at this stage of the season (before it's even started, but you need to confirm or decline your spot this coming week), you have two choices. You can either:
A) decline your spot, don't pay for the training package, and email SU to ask to be put on the waiting list for the higher/lower level group. If you choose this, you can't join any training groups until SU gets in touch with you, if and when a spot becomes free.
Please note: This could take weeks, months, or might not happen at all this season (check out the info above).
or
B) Accept your spot, pay for the training package by the deadline (mentioned above), join the training at the level you've been given, and then email SU to ask to be put on the waiting list for the higher/lower level. If you do this, SU will get in touch with you if and when a spot becomes available for you. If you pick this option, it's super important to pay on time (by the deadline), even if SU hasn't replied to your email before that payment cut-off.
Question 2: I applied for a training spot, but my name isn't in any group. What's up with that?
This year, we've once again had a massive amount of interest in our training sessions! So, we're really sorry to say that we just don't have enough spots for everyone who wanted to join. This affects returning and new members especially, but also a handful of our current members.
If your name isn't showing up in any training group, we're really sorry, but we couldn't find a spot for you this time. Good news is, you've automatically been added to our waiting list, so you don't need to do anything else!
If some players don't confirm their spot or decide to drop out in the next few weeks or during the season, and spots open up in the training groups, SU will get in touch with you by email. Make sure to check your emails regularly, even your spam folder!
In the meantime, you're still super welcome to join the club and become a member (find out more here: Become a Member – Copenhagen Beachvolley). You could also join one of the club's volunteer Committees (members of these Committees get priority when spots in training groups are handed out). For more details, you can read more here or get in touch with the Committees directly: Committees – Copenhagen Beachvolley
Question 3: I didn't apply, or forgot to apply, for a spot in a training group for the winter season. Can I still join?
Registration for a Senior training group (20 years and up) for the summer season is now closed. If you missed the deadline, you can still apply to be on the waiting list by filling out this form https://forms.office.com/e/hrgbZGxGzg
SU will get in touch with you if and when a spot opens up for you during the season.

7: A Few Last Important Things
- If you can't make it through the whole season for any reason (like an injury, pregnancy/maternity leave, or personal stuff), please let both your coaches and SU know (su@cphbeach.dk ).
- If you get injured or go on maternity leave, please check out the club's rules here: Rules and guidelines for membership in CPH Beach
- Got questions? Drop us an email at (su@cphbeach.dk ). Just a heads-up, we're expecting a lot of emails over the next month, more than we can usually reply to. We'll prioritize answering questions that aren't already covered in this message, and then we'll get back to the rest.
We're super excited for an awesome summer season with all of you!
Cheers,
The Sports Committee (SU)

Just so you know, we can only have a maximum of 8 players per court at each training session (that's up to 24 players for 3 courts, or 16 players for 2 courts). We've actually assigned a few more players to each group, based on how many usually show up. Throughout the season, we'll keep an eye on how many people attend each group. If we see attendance is lower or higher than we expected, we'll make some changes and adjust the groups accordingly.
4: What to do if you applied for a training spot and got placed in a group
ACTION #1: Please accept or decline your spot by April 24th at 11:59 PM. If you pay late, you'll lose your spot, and we'll offer it to someone on the waiting list.
If you'd like to confirm your spot, here's what to do:
- Head over to our website (LINK) and log in to your profile (if you're new, just create a profile and then log in).
- If you're a returning member or new to the club: First, pay the Senior membership fee (which is your monthly club membership fee) here: https://medlem.cphbeach.dk/da/subscriptions. If you're already a member, skip to step 3.

- 1 weekly training: https://medlem.cphbeach.dk/en/webshop/product/470
- 2 weekly trainings: https://medlem.cphbeach.dk/en/webshop/product/469
- Before you confirm your payment ('check out' and then 'confirm'), just make sure you've only added one item to your shopping cart and that the final price looks right.
If you decide not to take the training spot, please send SU an email (su@cphbeach.dk). This way, SU can offer the spot to one of the many players on the waiting list.
If you'd like a spot in a different training group (maybe a higher or lower level), please check out what to do in our FAQs, Section #6, Question Q1.

You'll find the links to the Facebook groups for each team in the training group overview. See the link in section #3.
ACTION #3 (only if you've confirmed your spot): Once you've confirmed your spot, you'll need to sign up for each training session during the season.
You can use our website or the Sportyfriends App: Just find your training session under 'Trainings' in the calendar and sign up for the date you want.
Heads up! All coaches have been asked to send players home who haven't signed up for that specific training session.
Good to know:
- You can sign up for a training session 14 days beforehand, and sign-ups close 24 hours before it begins.
- You can sign up for one training session at a time for each training group you're in, within that 14-day window.
- If a training session is full, you can still sign up and get on a waiting list for it. If someone cancels before the training starts, we'll give a spot to someone on the waiting list, and you'll get an email about it.

5: What to do if you applied for a training spot but didn't get one in a training group
No worries, you don't need to do anything! You can find more info in our FAQs, Section #6, Question Q2.
6: Common Questions & Answers
Q1: Can I move to a different training group or a different training day? Is that possible?
If you're not happy with your group (maybe the training day doesn't fit your schedule, your partner is in a different group, or you'd like a higher level, etc.), you can email us and tell us what's up. But please keep in mind:
- At the beginning of the season, we can only make small changes. Later in the season (after the coaches have checked out the group levels and SU has seen who's attending to figure out available spots), more changes might be possible.
- It's a case-by-case thing, and it might take a while (or not happen this season at all) because moving up or down really depends on if there are spots open in other groups and if it's the right level for you.
- Generally, it's easier to move down to a lower level than up to a higher one. Keep this in mind when you email us or make your decision.
If you'd like to move to a different group (either higher or lower) at this stage of the season (before it's even started, but you need to confirm or reject your spot in the next week), you've got two choices. You can either:
A) turn down your spot, don't pay for the training package, and email SU to ask to be put on the waiting list for a higher or lower level group. If you choose this, you won't be able to join any training groups until SU gets in touch with you if a spot opens up. Just a heads-up: this could take weeks or months, or even not happen at all this season (check above for more info).
or
B) accept your spot, pay for the training package before the deadline (see above), join the training group you've been placed in, and then email SU to ask to be put on the waiting list for a higher or lower level. If you go with this option, SU will get in touch if a spot opens up for you. If you pick this option, it's super important that you pay on time (before the deadline) even if SU hasn't replied to your email before the payment deadline.
Q2: I applied for a training spot, but I can't find my name in a group. What's up?
Once again this year, we've seen a huge amount of interest in our training sessions! So, we unfortunately have to let you know that we don't have enough spots for everyone who's keen to join. This mainly affects returning and new members, but also a few of our current members.
If your name isn't showing up in any training group, we're really sorry, but we couldn't find a spot for you. The good news is, you've automatically been added to our waiting list, so you don't need to do anything else!
If some players don't confirm their spot or drop out in the coming weeks or during the season, leaving some free spots in the training groups, SU will get in touch with you by email. Make sure to check your emails regularly, and don't forget your spam folder!
In the meantime, you're still super welcome to join the club and become a member (find out more here: Bliv Medlem – Copenhagen Beachvolley). You can also join one of the club's volunteer committees (members of these committees get priority when we're assigning training spots). Want to know more? You can read up on it here or just reach out to the Committees – Copenhagen Beachvolley directly!
Q3: Oops, I didn't apply (or forgot to apply!) for a training spot for the winter season. Can I still join?
Registration for joining a Senior (20+ years old) training group for the summer season is now closed. If you missed the deadline, you can still sign up for the waiting list by filling out this form: https://forms.office.com/e/hrgbZGxGzg
SU will get in touch with you if a spot opens up for you during the season.
